I’m sitting at the Austin airport with some time to kill before my flight. Here are some more photos from the week…

Here we go!!

Austin Convention Center- base camp for the whole SXSW operation. They also have an exhibition hall in this building that houses the Flatstock concert poster art exhibit, something I look forward to every year but, unfortunately missed this time.

Badge pickup.

Random band wandering through the Convention Center. They are called Angry vs. the Bear. Because I had “press” credentials this year, bands, managers and publicists were constantly approaching me, handing me CDs and flyers, and asking me to cover their showcases.

6th Street. I was shooting with the Panasonic HPX3000.

Freaky Shazam at Stubb’s. The Keyboarder had a huge beard and head-to-toe polyester. The bass player looked exactly like Buzz Osbourne from the Melvins. The singer pulled out a cigarette on stage and ate it.

Now I’m back to Los Angeles for a day and then to Phoenix to shoot NBA and NHL.
